Veterinary Diagnostic Center

The Veterinary Diagnostic Center (VDC) at the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Prince of Songkla University, was established to serve veterinarians, farm owners, and pet owners throughout Southern Thailand and at the national level. Our mission is to provide comprehensive animal disease diagnostic services with a focus on accessibility, rapid turnaround times, and high accuracy. These services are essential for protecting the health of both animals and their owners.

Missions

  • Diagnostic Excellence & Technology Transfer: We utilize advanced technology to monitor and diagnose emerging infectious diseases in all animal species, particularly those with significant impacts on public health and the livestock industry.
  • Educational Support: The center serves as a vital clinical training hub for undergraduate veterinary students and postgraduate candidates (Master’s and Doctoral levels), fostering the next generation of veterinary specialists.
  • Research & Innovation: We actively support the research endeavors of our faculty, staff, and students. By developing and transferring knowledge in the diagnosis of critical infectious diseases, we contribute to the sustainable development of livestock and animal husbandry.
